An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Service Analyst to support the Information Service Manager in the operational running of the national research information service for Health and Care Research Wales, which includes the coordination of a programme of work to develop, implement and maintain management information systems for research and development in Wales.
The role is varied with responsibilities ranging from answering routine queries about systems/data to leading collaborative projects to improve system functionality or data quality. We are looking for analysis experience in developing, testing, implementing and supporting ICT systems. The post holder will also require an attention to detail and ability to analyse complex information and data.
This role will be on a fixed term basis initially, however, we will also be open to applications for a secondment. Please gain the approval of your line manager prior to applying for a secondment to this role.
Please note: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the post holder will be required to work remotely from home. A blend of office base and remote working can then be agreed at a time when restrictions permit.
