NICE and NIHR launch a clinical evidence guide promoting the highest standards possible to ensure research on new treatments for COVID-19 can be translated into clinical practice as fast as possible.
A guide on clinical evidence generation for developers of medicinal products for COVID-19 to promote high standards to ensure research on new treatments can be translated into clinical practice has been launched by the National Institute for Health Research and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. The aim is to promote the highest standards possible within the constraints of the pandemic in terms of registration, conduct and reporting of studies, so that research on new treatments can be translated into clinical practice as fast as possible.
