
National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) conference 2021
This event has been renamed NCRI Festival: Making cancer research better together.
The NCRI Festival will feature a number of topical sessions, panel discussions, debates and co-creation sessions on strategic topics, as well as proffered paper presentations highlighting the latest research in the following areas:
- Discovery/underpinning research
- Prevention and early detection
- Treatment
- Living with and beyond cancer
- Clinical trials
The NCRI Festival has been designed for you to inspire and be inspired by others in the cancer research community. The event will also include a number of exciting networking sessions (in keeping with the festival theme) because learning is much more enjoyable when you’re having fun! More details and the full programme will be released soon.
Submit an abstract
This year the NCRI are accepting abstracts on all research that falls within the following macro-areas:
- Discovery/underpinning research
- Prevention and early detection
- Treatment
- Living with and beyond cancer
- Clinical trials
There will be several presentation slots available for all research types falling within these areas. If you’d like to be considered for one of these slots, make sure you submit your research by 13 June 2021 for a chance to:
- Showcase your data to the international cancer research community
- Be considered for virtual-oral presentation
- Gain recognition from your peers; all abstracts are citable and will be published on this website
- Win prestigious awards and prizes

Early bird rates (12 April - 30 June): £50.00 - £250.00
Standard rate (1 July - 30 September): £50.00 - £300.00
Late rate (1 October - TBC): £50.00 - £350.00
