GRReaT way to write research articles

Poor reporting is a significant cause of research waste with eighty percent of medical research not contributing to knowledge because of inappropriate study designs, delay in publication, non-publication, or poor reporting.

Reporting guidelines are tools designed to help. A reporting guideline reminds authors of the key information readers need get from the study which include:

  • How and why was the research conducted
  • How to repeat the study
  • How can the analysis be reproduced

The UK EQUATOR Centre is developing and testing personalised resources to help you write a complete and transparent research article with resources powered by reporting guidelines.

Would you like to help the UK EQUATOR Centre test a new way to help you write up your research for publication?

You can help by joining the GRReaT (GoodReports Randomized Trial) study which aims to test the improvements to GoodReports checklist.

Further information and how to join can be found here.
