Project title:  A Realist evaluation of the implementation of a women-centred NHS endometriosis website and tools to support more timely diagnosis and shared decision making with general practitioners

Biography

Rachel is a first year PhD student with a background in advocacy. She volunteers on a regular basis with Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales (FTWW) as their endometriosis champion and has recently won the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), Young Volunteer of the Year Award, Welsh Charity Awards 2022. Her PhD project title is: ‘A Realist evaluation of the implementation of a women-centred NHS endometriosis website and tools to support more timely diagnosis and shared decision making with general practitioners’. Rachel is extremely passionate about creating and inspiring change where endometriosis care is concerned in Wales, and further afield!
