Biography

Julia is an Associate Professor in the School of Health and Social Care, which is in the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science at Swansea University. She is a mental health nurse, has a PhD in Health Science, along with extensive experience in public and patient involvement. Julia works with Deaf communities to improve healthcare policy and practice to reduce health inequalities that Deaf people experience.
