Biography
Ed is an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner (APP) working with the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS. He has an invested interest in expediting the four pillars of advanced practice within his workspace and works closely with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust (WAST) R&D department supporting them in their research projects. In 2020 he was awarded the Health and Care Research Wales Research Capacity Building Collaboration (RCBC) Fellowship undertaking his PhD entitled ‘BALANCE: Exploring the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health and wellbeing of ambulance staff’. He is undertaking his PhD as a student of Swansea University.
