Research Associate - DECIPHer
Cardiff University School of Social Sciences is looking for a Research Associate to work within the Centre for Development, Evaluation, Complexity and Implementation in Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer) research centre that is located within the university.
The role is within an exciting new international study, co-led by Cardiff University as part of a consortium of 8 organisations, called FLOURISH (Family-focused Adolescent & Lifelong Health Promotion). FLOURISH will adapt, implement, and evaluate a set of programmes focusing on the adolescent-caregiver relationship to support adolescent mental health in Moldova and North Macedonia. The programmes will be adapted to the service delivery and cultural setting of two countrywide health networks, in North Macedonia and Moldova, including the needs of the refugee populations from Ukraine.
The programmes will cover evidence-based skills, such as problem-solving and emotional regulation, for adolescents 10-14 years old and their caregivers. FLOURISH aims to foster methodological innovation and advance the uptake and scale-up of evidence-based, open-source, and sustainable family interventions for adolescents in low-resource settings.
The post holder will manage the research within the process evaluation, a component of the overall study, and support other areas of work related to the wider evaluation study.
