Faculty webinar - What a NIHR HTA panel looks for in a competitive funding application with Professor Kerry Hood

Professor Kerry Hood will go through the different types of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) applications and stages and what panels are looking for. 

This will be based on the experiences of six years sitting on the HTA General Board which considers applications for evidence syntheses and primary research. 

The calls these are in response to can be research led, commissioned or broad brief and the difference between them will be explained. This will also include what we are looking for in responses to panel feedback and reviewers' comments.

There will be opportunities for Q&A.

Professor Kerry Hood is a Health and Care Research Wales Senior Research Leader and the Director of the Health and Care Research Wales funded Centre for Trials Research.
