New call for Healthcare Science PhD Studentship Award

The Cardiff School of Healthcare Sciences is offering a four-year studentship for individuals with interests that cross physiology, neuroscience and applied clinical sciences.

Funded through the GW4BioMed2 MRC Doctoral Training Partnership, the successful applicant will join the GW4 community studying fatigue in people with multiple long-term conditions and supervised by Dr Jennifer Davies and Professor Monica Busse Morris from Cardiff University and Professor Helen Dawes from University of Exeter.

The PhD student will be part of a network of academics and clinicians working towards understanding the mechanisms of fatigue across clinical conditions and developing and testing novel targeted interventions for fatigue in people with multiple long-term clinical conditions.
