Join Patient Advisory Panel to help Cancer Research UK review its funding
The Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is looking for eight people affected by cancer to form a Patient Advisory Panel to help review funding applications for the Centres of Excellence in Brain Tumours, Lung Cancer and Radiation Research.
The CRUK Centres of Excellence are research infrastructure awards that aim to support research locations across the UK in delivering high-quality research in areas of strategic priority such as ‘cancers of unmet need’ and radiation research. Centres are funded for a fixed period, e.g. 5 years. As the current funding period comes to an end, CRUK is inviting them to re-apply for further funding.
To apply you do not need to:
- Any prior knowledge of CRUK or the work we do.
- Previous experience of reviewing research grant applications.
- An understanding of research.
