Two women talking to one another

End of study symposium: Exploring care-leavers engagement with services

This one-day event will present findings from a Health and Care Research Wales funded study led by member of the Health and Care Research Wales Faulty Dr Ceryl Davies exploring the barriers, enablers and outcomes to care-leavers engagement with services.

In collaboration with young people who are care-leavers and practitioners, researchers at Bangor University have developed an evidence informed practice model and toolkit for practitioners working and engaging with care-leavers.

The impact and the added social value provided by this novel practice model and toolkit has been evaluated through a social return on investment, evidencing what successful engagement and outcomes look like for care-leavers across Wales.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

This symposium is being run by Bangor University if you have any questions, please contact the event team.
