Help shape a more inclusive approach to clinical trials
The Health Research Authority (HRA), in partnership with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has released a draft guidance aimed at increasing the diversity of participants in clinical trials and investigations. They are seeking feedback on the proposals to ensure a more inclusive approach to research.
The HRA and MHRA are dedicated to conducting high-quality health and social care research. The new Inclusion and Diversity Plan aims to ensure that clinical research is inclusive, representing the broad spectrum of people affected by study findings and prioritising those often overlooked in research. Academics, researchers, principal investigators, participants or anyone interested in research can share their thoughts on this guidance.
Read the draft guidance and share your opinions through the online survey. By sharing your feedback on the draft guidance, you can help shape how diversity is approached in clinical research.
Deadline: 9 December 2024
