Biography

Kate is a Health and Care Research Wales funded MRes student at the University of Stirling. Kate works at Velindre Cancer Centre as a Research Nurse team lead for the Cardiff Cancer Research Hub. Prior to becoming a nurse, she worked as a children's social worker specialising in fostering and care giving.

Her current research interests include patient and family experience of decisional fatigue when choosing to participate in Early Phase Clinical Trials. She hopes to further explore information exchange and how supportive care can link with early phase trial participants.
