Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meeting

The All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC) Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meetings are a great way to find out more about how to get involved in the teams work. Everyone is welcome.

Presentations at the meeting include:

  • Your Medicines, Your Health campaign – helping people in Wales get the most out of their medicines (Claire Thomas, AWTTC)
  • Why we behave in the way that we do? How understanding health psychology can help support adherence (Dr Sarah Brown, Cardiff Metropolitan University)
  • KidzMedz Cymru – improving medicine adherence in children by teaching them how to safely swallow pills (Bethan Davis, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board)

The views and experiences of patients and carers are very welcomed and there will be time for discussion and questions.

This event is being run by the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre if you have any questions, please contact the event team.
