HRA launches new strategy to support UK health and growth missions
10 July
The Health Research Authority (HRA) has launched a new three-year strategy which outlines how it will support the UK government's health and growth missions by making it easier to do research that people can trust.
The strategy aligns with government plans to kickstart economic growth and build an NHS fit for the future, focusing on three key areas:
- Supporting UK growth in life sciences by making the UK the easiest place to do health research
- Reducing health inequalities by ensuring research is done with and for everyone
- Increasing research impact by streamlining processes and cutting administrative costs
The HRA will deliver these goals through building digital foundations, embedding productivity, working in partnership UK-wide and building trust in research.
