Get your entries and nominations in for the 2026 Social Care Wales Accolades
Have you done something unique or innovative that’s made a real difference to the lives of the people you support or your workforce?
Or do you know someone who works or volunteers in care who deserves to be recognised for the fantastic work they do?
Social Care Wales is now welcoming entries and nominations for the 2026 Accolades, the annual awards that recognise, celebrate and share excellent social care, social work, childcare, play and early years in Wales.
If you're part of a team, group or organisation working in the public, private, voluntary or co-operative sectors in Wales, Social Care Wales wants to hear from you. Share your achievements and you could be in with a chance of winning a prestigious Accolade.
Social Care Wales is also looking to celebrate those who work or volunteer in social care, social work or childcare, play and early years in Wales who make a positive difference to people’s lives through the care and support they provide.
They are asking colleagues, employers, people using care and support or their carers, family and friends to nominate any workers or volunteers and to be recognised with an Accolade.
The four categories for groups, projects and organisations are:
- Building bright futures for children and families
- Effective use of digital and technology
- Innovative ways of recruiting and retaining the workforce
- Supporting people to live the life that matters to them.
The three categories for workers and volunteers are:
- Inspirational leadership award
- Learner of the year award
- WeCare Wales award.
The closing date for entries and nominations is 17:00 on 10 November 2025.
