Make a difference for children and young people in care

The Centre for Development, Evaluation, Complexity and Implementation in Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer) is conducting a research study to understand how support from others can affect the mental health and well-being of children and young people who have been in care

The DECIPHer team would like to hear experiences and views of people aged 7 to 25 who have lived in care (foster care, residential care, kinship care, under a Special Guardianship Order) or have been adopted, about the support they have received and how it has affected their life. This research will help inform improvements for others in care.

You will be asked to join a one-to-one chat with Becky Wright, the research lead, which should not take more than one hour.

To find out more or get involved, email the team.
