Latest Bevan Commission Report: The Foundations for the Future Model of Health and Care in Wales

The Bevan Commission has released a new report entitled “The Foundations for the Future Model of Health and Care in Wales” which sets out an agenda to achieve a sustainable, high quality, equitable health and care system for current and future generations. 

The report takes account of the economic climate and wider pressures on the health and social care system in Wales and suggests a new way of approaching these challenges.

The report draws on insights from the Commission’s public engagement in 2023, involving over 2,000 people, and the perspectives of internationally recognised experts at their conference marking the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
