Are you a registered clinical professional who undertakes research activities as part of your role?
Health and Care Research Wales is conducting a survey to map clinical academics working in Wales with the aim of working with them to develop national guidance for host organisations and clinicians looking to develop a career in research.
This project has been identified through the NHS R&D Framework, which aims to embed research into NHS Wales. Support for clinical academics is key to this ambition.
We need your input to map the numbers, locations, and types of clinical academics here in Wales. Your feedback will help develop good practice guidelines for NHS Wales and higher education institutions hosting and supporting clinical academics.
Why participate?
Influence national guidance: your insights will help create guidelines to support making clinical academic careers accessible and sustainable in Wales.
Support your peers: by identifying the needs and optimal working arrangements for clinical academics.
Be part of a strategic initiative: to support and invest in clinical academic careers.
Who should participate?
All clinically registered professionals based in Wales, including those not currently practicing but holding clinical registrations.
Professionals involved in both clinical and research activities.
