Co-production with young people: TRIUMPH youth advisory group
A public involvement group funded by Health and Care Research Wales was recently involved in a UK wide project with young people co-producing a study into youth mental health and wellbeing.
Advice Leading to Public Health Advancement (ALPHA), from the Centre for Development, Evaluation, Complexity and Implementation in Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer), was one of four partner organisations supporting the Transdisciplinary Research for the Improvement of Youth Mental Public Health (TRIUMPH) Youth Advisory Group, which saw youth advisors co-designing, facilitating and presenting at partnership agenda-setting workshops, to help determine priority areas for future research into youth mental health.
Find out more about the study and how young people were involved to widen the research agenda and influence the research questions to improve young people’s mental health.
