Heel pain.

Do you suffer from heel pain (plantar fasciitis)?

The HELPP (HeEl Pain Pathways) study, carried out by NHS staff and researchers from the Podiatry Department, as well as from the Centre for healthcare Evaluation, Device Assessment and Research (CEDAR), aims to test different treatment options to deal with heel pain. The study is being carried out at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB) and the participants will need to be from the area.

Everyone experiences heel pain in different ways, and no single treatment works for everyone. The researchers are testing a study design with different combinations of treatments. The treatments in this study are part of routine clinical treatment (self-help videos, shock-wave therapy, orthotics). You will not be testing any experimental techniques.

They would like to get in contact with you to explain everything about the study and see if you are eligible to participate. Complete this form, to solely express an interest in the study.
