Have your say on healthy ageing

Are you over 50 and facing challenges regarding your health and wellbeing? Or do you know someone who is experiencing such challenges as they age?

In some areas and communities in Wales, people spend fewer years in good health than others. While life span has continued to increase across the UK, health span has not improved.

In this project, researchers from the Cardiff Metropolitan University want to understand the things that affect the health, wellbeing and physical activity habits of people in diverse ethnic communities. They would like to invite you for an interview to help them identify these challenges and explore ideas that could support people to age well.

You are eligible to take part if you:

  • are over the age of 50 and live in an ethnically diverse area
  • are available for 1-2 hours for a group discussion (organised at the India Centre and Grangetown Pavilion in Cardiff) or an interview in person or on the phone

Contact Zsofia Szekeres via a phone or an email for more information about the study, translation or if you feel you need additional help.

Participants receive £10 voucher and refreshments will be provided during the meeting.
