Help speed up the diagnosis of 'Glue Ear'

Cardiff Metropolitan University is running a survey about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support diagnoses in primary healthcare. The focus is specifically on the diagnosis of a common childhood hearing condition 'Glue Ear' (Otitis Media with Effusion or OME) and a newly developed diagnosis support application.

The aim of the survey is to help the researchers make the AI application more widely available. This would mean that children with 'Glue Ear' would be able to get an accurate diagnosis as simply and speedily as possible, especially if this was something that was available in the local GP surgery or Health Centre.

They are asking  doctors, health professionals and members of the public for their views.

Take part today by filling in the online questionnaire that should not take more than 10 minutes.
