Building inclusive practices around mental capacity and consent in palliative care research

Researchers, clinicians and others with an interest in palliative care research are invited to join this event to share and consolidate knowledge around palliative care research. 

Workshop objectives:

  • Hear and discuss key findings from their work to improve research engagement for adults with impaired capacity to consent.
  • Identify current research gaps and set priority areas for future research.
  • Foster inter-disciplinary collaboration to address system and practical challenges.
  • Opportunities to contribute to programmes of research in this area.
