EFGCP Better Medicines for Children Conference 2024

The European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP) "Better Medicines for Children" Conference is an annual flagship event that provides a unique opportunity to share best practice and discuss paediatric updates with a truly global reach. Despite an ever-changing and challenging environment, the organisers believe they have put together a dynamic, innovative, and highly engaging conference to inform delegates of the latest scientific and regulatory developments in the paediatric field.

Last year's conference in October 2023 marked a welcome return to in-person gatherings after three years of virtual conferences due to the pandemic. This year's conference will also be held in person, taking place in Brussels at the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel.

Rhian Thomas-Turner, Research and Development Lead at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales will be moderating sessions on both days:

Tuesday 22 October 14:45

Paediatric-only drug development / First-in-child companies

Wednesday 23 October 2024 09:45

Pathways to Medicines in Developing Countries.

The conference will focus on "Common issues in clinical development amplified in paediatric drug development", exploring its challenges and solutions, and particularly its value. There will be a focus on what can be done and has been achieved in Europe, and this year will also include perspectives from the US and globally. To this end, the conference will bring together distinguished speakers from around the world, along with relevant stakeholders and experts involved in paediatric medicines development.

This conference is being run by The European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP) if you have any questions, please contact the event team.
