National Cancer Research Institute Early Career Researcher Forum
The National Cancer Research Institute's (NCRI) inaugural Early Career Researcher (ECR) Forum event programme has been tailored to the interests and needs of Forum members, with the aim to educate, engage and inspire the next generation of leading cancer researchers. It will feature a number of topical sessions including panel discussions, educational items and networking, as well as an ECR Proposals Guidance session.
The NCRI Early Career Researcher Forum was launched in June 2021, and now represents a community of over 400 ECRs interested in and/or working towards careers in cancer-related research. This includes basic and translational researchers, allied health professionals (AHP) and clinical ECRs based in the UK. The Forum aims to offer ECRs the opportunity to build collaborative networks in their field of interest, whilst enhancing their skills and supporting career development through training, mentoring, networking and research involvement opportunities.
