PRIME Centre Wales Annual Meeting 2023
The theme of this year's Wales Centre for Primary and Emergency Care Research (PRIME Centre Wales) annual meeting is "New opportunities in challenging times: adapting our research efforts to the most pressing problems in primary and emergency care in Wales."
The annual meeting will feature:
- Keynote speakers in the field of primary, emergency and unscheduled care in Wales.
- Workshops on stakeholder engagement, adaptive trial design and palliative care.
- A panel on public and patient involvement.
- A series of quick-fire elevator pitch style presentations, with a prize for the winning presentation.
Call for Abstracts
PRIME invite abstracts submissions for ‘elevator pitches’ and posters on the annual meeting theme or on any aspect of primary, unscheduled, and emergency care research.
- The presentations will be in person three minute ‘elevator pitches’. Guidance and tips on elevator pitch presentations is available to view online and download.
- The top three elevator pitch presentations will be presented with prizes on the day.
- Please submit your completed abstract template to Richard.Evans@Bangor.ac.uk
Word limit
- 300 words maximum for the abstract
Deadline
- Abstract submission deadline: 15 October 2023

Conference Dinner
Participants are invited to attend the annual meeting conference dinner held in Wrexham on the evening of 31 October 2023.
