Public Engagement and Involvement Forum - November 2021

Following the success of the first Health and Care Research Wales Public Engagement and Involvement Forum, the second event will be held over two sessions on 4 and 11 November 2021 on Zoom.

Nearly 100 people attended the first Forum across two days in May 2021.

It provided an opportunity for attendees to hear about progress made with the ‘Discover Your Role in Health and Care Research’ action plan and to hear from a range of speakers about public involvement in research prioritisation and how wider inclusion and diversity within research can be achieved.

In response to the feedback the next Forum will explore Focus Area 2 of the Action Plan, which will look at ways to ensure senior level support for public involvement and engagement. There will also be updates about the public engagement strategy and administrative barriers to funding public involvement.

We will be holding the same event on two different days, to give the opportunity for more people to attend the live sessions. Both days will have the same content, so you only need to attend one of the events listed below.
