Research and Development Forum 2026

The Research and Development Forum conference is the UK’s flagship annual event for the health and care research and development community. Each year, the programme reflects the community’s achievements, challenges and priorities and now it’s your turn to contribute.

Call for oral and poster abstracts now open

The conference team is inviting oral and poster presentation abstracts showcasing how you are creatively and innovatively responding to today’s dynamic health and care research and development environment.

Suggested themes:

• research and development delivery and management
• research and development workforce (all roles)
• research and development integration, partnerships, and collaborations
• Patient and community voice

Submissions are encouraged from across all four UK nations, as well as colleagues in non-NHS organisations engaged in health and care research.

Deadlines for:

• oral presentations: Friday 17 October 2025
• poster presentations: Friday 14 November 2025
