Robot pet companions for people with dementia: connecting with 'Companotics' today and in the future.
Wrexham University is excited to invite you to their next public lecture of Wrexham Talks Research.
Dr Joanne Pike, interim Associate Dean in the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences at Wrexham University, will discuss how robots are integrated into everyday life and also their potential influence on wellbeing. Joanne will specifically talk about a study that used robot companion cats to comfort people at home with dementia.
A food and drinks reception will start at 17:30 before the lecture at 18:00. There is also half an hour after the lecture dedicated to networking.
Wrexham Talks will showcase the exciting work and innovations of Wrexham University researchers and bring together academics, partners, and our communities for intellectual debates and inspiring discussions.
