Live now: Three new research funding calls

Health and Care Research Wales is pleased to announce three new funding calls are now open for applications. The funding is available under the following schemes:

• Research for Patient and Public Benefit (RfPPB) Wales (closed)
• Research Funding Scheme: Social Care Grant (closed)
• Health Research Fellowships

The Health Research Fellowship call will continue to run as a one-stage application process. The scheme offers full-time (over 3 years) or part-time (over 4 or 5 years) post-doctoral fellowship awards to talented researchers with 60 months or less research experience since achieving their PhD. The closing date for applications is 23 November 2021.

Remit and priority areas

All applications falling within the general remit of the calls are eligible, however, as usual, Health and Care Research Wales has identified a number of areas in which applications would be particularly welcome.

Documents to help with applications, along with the eligibility requirements and remits, will be available from 1 September.
