Registration is now open for Support and Delivery Day 2025, with this year’s theme: “Driving change for research excellence.”

The event will be a chance for to come together with colleagues from across Wales to hear about national research priorities, share best practice and celebrate achievements in research delivery. You may work in a research role or you may be engaged in research in practice, perhaps you would like to learn more about research support and delivery; there will an opportunity to reflect on progress, exchange ideas with peers and strengthen research collaboration across Wales.

Call for abstracts

As part of this event, we are inviting abstract submissions for posters, TED-style talks, presentations and workshops. If you have an example of best practice , an innovative approach to share, or a research project in progress or completed, we encourage you to submit an abstract.

This year, we are particularly looking for abstracts exploring:

Innovation in research delivery approaches and models

New ways of improving the delivery of research in health and social care settings. This could include innovative methodologies, the use of technology or creative approaches to overcoming barriers in research delivery. 

Making time for research

Highlighting successful ways of embedding research into everyday clinical or care settings. These could include strategies for balancing research with clinical work, research active culture initiatives or case studies demonstrating how individuals and teams have created time and space for research to thrive within their organisations.

Doing commercial research differently 

Exploring new and effective ways of delivering commercial research. The aim is to share learning that can help improve the efficiency, reach and impact of commercial research in Wales.

How to submit an abstract

To submit an abstract, you must first register for the event. Once registered:

1. A link to the abstract submission form will appear on the registration confirmation page.
2. You will also receive a confirmation email with the submission link.
3. Complete your abstract submission before the deadline.

The deadline for submitting your abstract is 17:00 on 12 May 2025.
