Professor Sinead Brophy
Senior Research Leader & Director
Sinead is Director of the National Centre for Population Health and Wellbeing Research, Professor in Health Data Research UK (Wales/Northern Ireland) and Lead of Early Years in Administrative Data Research Wales. She is also member of the Medical Research Council’s Population and Systems Medicine Board and member of the Independent Scientific Advisory Committee of Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Authority.
Sinead is training lead in Wales/Northern Ireland for Health Data Research UK. Her areas of expertise include data science, epidemiology especially a life course approach, maternal and child health, chronic conditions especially arthritis and workplace health.
