Centre for Ageing and Dementia Research Arts Competition 2023

Theme: Creatively Ageing

Aim: to raise awareness of the arts and how it can benefit health and wellbeing

The Centre for Ageing and Dementia Research (CADR) team is delighted to announce they are now accepting submissions to the CADR Arts Competition 2023. 

You are invited to submit artworks such as photos, drawings, poetry, paintings, sculptures etc., along with a short description, your name, address, email address and phone number. All entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the winning artwork will be photographed. Entries may also be used in future CADR publicity and promotional materials as well as the winning entry being on the front cover of the 2024 CADR Calendar.

All entrants will receive a copy of the 2024 CADR Calendar.

Rules:

  • All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of the copyright in all arts entered and must have gained permission of any people featured in their entries. Entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
  • Entrants will retain copyright in the arts that they submit. By entering the competition all entrants grant CADR the right to use the images on various publicity materials, on the CADR website and social media sites. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses.
