Cancer Research UK: Help make their new clinical trial patient friendly
Cancer Research UK are looking for people who have been affected by cancer to fill in a short survey as part of a new clinical trial.
This will involve answering some questions on the design of their Centre for Drug Development's new clinical trial, helping to make sure the trial is patient friendly.
This clinical trial is looking at a new drug (led by Cancer Research UK) in adult patients with advanced solid tumours.
Despite the advances in cancer treatment for advanced solid tumours, some patients won’t respond to the current standard treatment available. They want to test a new experimental drug that will stimulate the immune system, so that it targets the cancer and stops it from growing.
Find out more about how to take part on Cancer Research UK’s website.
The survey closes on 19 April 2021.
