Clinical Research Specialist Nurse - Hywel Dda University Health Board

Hywel Dda University Health Board are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and appropriately experienced Band 6 Clinical Research Specialist Nurse, on a part or full-time basis based at Glangwili General Hospital.

It is necessary for the applicant to have a knowledge of clinical research trial set-up, protocols and their application to practice, alongside a working knowledge of local, national and international research regulations.

They will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be motivated and conscientious with an eye for detail.

Main duties of the job

• Set up, run and lead research trials and clinical studies.
• Liaise with doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other members of the wider MDT team.
• Recruiting to time and target across a range of portfolio and commercial studies.
• Mentoring, Training and Supervision of other members of staff.
