Dr Alisha Davies
Head of Research and Evaluation
Professor Alisha Davies is a Consultant in Public Health and Head of Research and Evaluation, Public Health Wales. Alisha leads the multi-disciplinary Research and Evaluation Division, delivering embedded programmes addressing knowledge gaps in public health policy and practice. Current research areas, supported through internal and research grant income with academic partners, span the direct and indirect impact of COVID-19, wider determinants of health, communities and resilience, and digital exclusion. She is also the Deputy Director for the National Centre for Population Health & Wellbeing Research.
Alisha provides leadership for the organisational research and evaluation strategy, supporting research development and delivery across Public Health Wales and is a member of the National Institute for Health Research Public Health Research Prioritisation Committee.
