Dr Gina Dolan
Academic Manager, Postgraduate Research Co-Lead Research Capacity Building Collaboration
As Lead for Postgraduate Research in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education at the University of South Wales, and Co-Lead for Research Capacity Building Collaboration (RCBC) Wales, Gina’s work centres on promoting research engagement and building research capacity. Gina leads the RCBC Wales Operational Group in the development and delivery of the scheme and to expand and enhance external partnerships. She has over 20 years of experience in health-related research including nurse education, patient experience, self-management of health and cancer care and has published widely in these areas. As Chair of the Faculty Research Degrees Committee, Gina strives to ensure the provision of a high quality, integrated programme of research training and development. A consistent feature of her work is to nurture and inspire new researchers to make a real impact on professions and practice
