Amanda Edwards
Assistant Director Innovation and Improvement
Amanda joined Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) in 2014 and has undertaken a variety of roles in commissioning, operations and workforce. She is currently the Assistant Director Innovation & Improvement which includes overseeing Research and Development for the Health Board. She leads PTHB’s service improvement function to provide the frameworks, programme management and project support arrangements to drive specific, complex, whole system clinical change and transformation of clinical services serving a rural population, in line with the Health and Care Strategy for Powys.
Amanda has worked across the criminal justice sector and within NHS England where she was the Lead for Service Improvement and Commissioning across Health & Social Care in Herefordshire.
