€1.75 billion of European funding opportunities announced

The European Commission has published a draft version of the Horizon Europe Health Work Programme for 2021-2022, with €1.75 billion of funding opportunities available.

The work programme is split into 6 different areas called destinations. Each destination contains various call topics:

  • Destination 1 – Staying healthy in a rapidly changing society (€289 million)
  • Destination 2 - Living and working in a health-promoting environment (€350 million)
  • Destination 3 - Tackling diseases and reducing disease burden (€489.5 million)
  • Destination 4 - Ensuring access to innovative, sustainable and high-quality health care (€240 million)
  • Destination 5 - Unlocking the full potential of new tools, technologies and digital solutions for a healthy society (€270 million)
  • Destination 6 - Maintaining an innovative, sustainable and globally competitive health related industry (€113 million)
