Dr Kimberley Kendall

Specialty Lead for Mental Health / WCAT Clinical Fellow

Dr Kendall is a clinical academic psychiatrist based at Cardiff University. Her overarching interests are psychiatric genetics and the potential for big data to improve patient care. Dr Kendall conducts research to establish how psychiatric genetic variants influence clinical presentation and functioning. She is passionate about translating research findings into clinical practice and puts this into action in the All Wales Psychiatric Genomics Service, the UK’s first dedicated psychiatric genomics clinic. In addition to her research, Dr Kendall does clinical work in early intervention in psychosis.
