Biography
Dr Adam Mackridge has been practicing as a pharmacist since 2002 and has extensive experience of working in community pharmacies, primary care, and prisons. Adam was an academic pharmacist for 15 years, initially completing a PhD at Aston University then working at Liverpool John Moores University, where he was Reader in Public Health Pharmacy.
In 2017, Adam returned to the NHS, taking up a role as Deputy Head of Pharmacy for Primary Care and Community (East), before taking on his current role as Strategic Lead for Community Pharmacy. He is actively involved in applied health research and education, working with colleagues in Cardiff, Bangor, Keele and Liverpool John Moores universities.
