Young People's Virtual Genomics Café

Are you interested in finding out more about genomics and health, or affected by a rare or genetic condition? Join the Wales Gene Park at October’s café is aimed at young people aged 16-25. The café will feature relaxed talks, including:

  • Measuring Risk for Alzheimer’s Disease, Dr Emily Simmonds, Research Associate, Dementia Research Institute, Cardiff University 
  • Careers and opportunities in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Izzy Fraser, STEM Untapped
  • The Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health, Professor Stephan Collishaw, Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health, Cardiff University
