Do you want to use your experience of PTSD to help others reduce its symptoms?
Help researchers to understand whether cold water immersion could help reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Researchers want to explore whether cold water dipping can reduce symptoms of PTSD and whether it could become a supportive approach alongside existing treatments.
One in ten people in the UK experience PTSD, with around 300,000 new cases diagnosed each year. While talking therapies and medication are the main forms of treatment, this research will look at whether cold water immersion can be a useful addition.
