Dr Raza Alikhan
Specialty Lead for Haematology
Dr Raza Alikhan is part of the Thrombosis & Haemostasis Task Force and Guideline Committee. His doctoral thesis defended on venous thromboembolism prophylaxis in medical patients, and he is the UK National Lead Investigator for rivaroxaban medical thromboprophylaxis study (MARINER). Raza is UK Chief Investigator for apixaban treatment of cancer associated thrombosis study (CARAVAGGIO) and apixaban length of stay pulmonary embolism study (ALPHA-PE).
