Research and Innovation Bid Development Officer - National Cardiovascular Research Network

The National Cardiovascular Research Network (NCRN) is seeking an experienced and skilled Research and Innovation Bid Development Officer with a background in working in the scientific / clinical sector.

You will:

• Work closely with the Network’s Leadership Team, Theme Principal Investigators and Strategy Leads, advising on funding trends, opportunities, and research priorities.
• Through your leadership in bid development, research synthesis and activity-mapping, develop and operationalise a portfolio of externally funded projects that enhance the Network’s research capacity and capability.
• Work with interdisciplinary research teams in identifying funding opportunities and support the preparation of grant applications to all relevant funders.
• Liaise with funders and provide guidance to the Network’s stakeholders on how to appropriately frame and articulate key research questions to improve the competitiveness of applications for funding.
• Provide training to individuals and groups, regarding funders, funding streams, and requirements to strengthen the quality and potential for success of securing awards.
