Research Assistant - CASCADE

Cardiff University are looking for a Research Assistant to join The Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE) that is located within the School of Social Sciences

In this role, you will: 

• Undertake research, e.g. by planning, preparing, setting up, conducting field work/desktop research – specifically as a Researcher in Residence in a local authority in London.
• Actively participate within the research group, communicating and presenting research at meetings, through publications and other recognised avenues as appropriate, ensuring information is communicated to internal and external partners
• Contribute and support research publications and presentations as required

Cardiff University would like to hear from you if you have: 

• A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. social science, social work, social policy), or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of research methods and techniques within social work
• Ability to analyse complex information and summarise appropriately
