VPAG Commercial Research Delivery Wales equipment call

This is a Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access (VPAG) call.

Purpose: 

Health and Care Research Wales is opening a call for NHS organisations to submit a request for equipment required to support the delivery of commercial pharmaceutical research, where cost will be incurred within 2025/26.

Application process: 

Complete the proforma (.docx), providing a description of the equipment required, individual item cost and justification for the items/refurbishment requested in the proposal. This should include how the funding will enhance your commercial clinical research infrastructure and support an increased capacity to deliver commercial clinical research.

Multiple requests for the same item can be grouped together on a single row (e.g. if you would like to request four of the same items, these can be grouped together with the cost per item specified). 

Calls will be reviewed by the Health and Care Research Wales national research delivery team informed by CRDC Leads, Specialty Leads, other research infrastructure leadership, industry peers as appropriate/where required. Funding outcomes will be reported to the CRDW board.  

Where requests for funding relate to national or strategic projects, the CRDW Board will identify and agree appropriate processes for review including , but not limited to, internal and external panel review, in order to determine outcomes.

Application deadline: 

This is a rolling funding call, and a decision will be made within four weeks of a submitted application
