Faculty webinar - Evidence Synthesis and its importance in designing primary research with Professor Adrian Edwards
Professor Adrian Edwards is Director of the Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre, whose work includes both evidence synthesis and primary research. The value of each has been demonstrated, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and also widely across research groups and institutions.
Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre’s work is unique though in making its primary research directly informed by the evidence synthesis and the further questions identified. The webinar discusses examples where primary research also operates in parallel with the evidence synthesis work, each informing the conduct and interpretation of the other to added value.
